Steel: Steel frames again can be light and strong.They’re strength will depend on the quality of the steel used. So when you buy cheap steel framed folding chairs check the weight capacity to be sure. If they are looked after steel frames will last a considerable length of time. You may need to sand them back and repaint them after a few years just to keep the rust at bay. Over winter storage in a dry space is a must. You can’t leave these chairs outside and expect them to survive year in year out.
